What stood in the way

FEMMÉ HAIR CARE entered TikTok Shop with strong product fundamentals but unproven traction in social commerce. Early-period performance (Sep–Oct 2024) was solid at $192,999 GMV across 5,337 orders, but the brand was operating well outside the top-tier sellers in beauty & personal care and lacked a repeatable system for driving high-volume days, scaling affiliate distribution, and converting video traffic into orders.

Our Approach

How we tackled it

  1. 1

    Built a multi-channel content engine: scheduled LIVE selling sessions around peak shopper hours, ran a continuous short-form video pipeline, and optimized product cards (titles, images, badging) so passive browsers could buy without watching a stream.

    Expanded affiliate and linked-creator distribution. Affiliates now drive 24.9% of GMV; linked accounts add another 12.5% — together about a third of revenue comes through creator-led channels.

    Concentrated firepower on high-engagement campaign windows (Black Friday / late November, late December). Nov 25, 2024 alone delivered $39,318 GMV and 1,812 orders; Dec 21, 2024 added $31,627 / 1,415 orders.

    Maintained a balanced revenue mix across the year: LIVE 23.2%, Videos 36.0%, Product Cards 40.9% — so no single content channel created a single point of failure.

    Iterated on listing quality and category compliance to stay always-valid in Beauty & Personal Care — protecting visibility from violations or restrictions.

What we achieved

From Sep 2024 to Apr 2026, GMV grew from $192,999 to $618,896 — nearly 3x. Total orders climbed from 5,337 to 20,723, items sold reached 23,278, and the brand served 19,024 unique customers in the most recent twelve-month window. FEMMÉ HAIR CARE now ranks #23 by GMV in its category, sitting alongside global names like Medicube US, Dr.Melaxin, and Tarte Cosmetics — and within striking distance of a top-10 position with continued investment in LIVE frequency and creator partnerships.
